Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Wilma Robichaux Pellegrin; one son, Roger "Dale" Pellegrin and wife, Mickey, of Houma; one daugher-in-law, Mary Lou Pellegrin of Chauvin; one sister, Louella Pellegrin Guidry of Galliano; seven grandchildren, Mary Purviance and husband, Michael, Pernell Pellegrin and wife, Gina, Michelle Breaux and husband, Mickey, Tammy Duplantis and husband, Kent, Lori LeBouef and husband, Ritchie, Raquel Sadler and husband, Kyle, and Brooks Pellegrin and wife, Jan; three step-grandchildren, Tiffany Pitre, Mindy Pitre and Jason Pitre; 14 great-grandchildren, Alexis Pellegrin, Lynsey Breaux, Katie Breaux, Dexter Breaux, Justin Griffin, Logan LeBouef, Peyton Sadler, Lane LeBouef, Britt Pellegrin, Lerrin LeBouef, Jansen Pellegrin, Brook Pellegrin, Jackson Sadler and McKenzie Breaux; seven step-great-grandchildren, Ethan Breaux, Brianna Breaux, Kensi Duplantis, Cassi Duplantis, Ashley Matherne, Kadin Matherne and Katie Matherne; and two great-great-grandchildren, Kade Foret and Emma Quatrevingt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Pellegrin Sr. and Clavia Authement; one son, Ronald Pellegrin; two brothers, Earl Pellegrin Sr. and Victor Pellegrin Jr.; two sisters, Mildred P. Authement and Thelma P. Adams; and one granddaughter, Brittany Porche. He was a boat captain owner and worked for Texaco Oil Company for 50 years. He was a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
