Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by one son, Wilson Joey Portier Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Houma; two daughters, Jane Guidry and husband, Aubrey, and Joyce Chauvin and husband, Milfred, of Chauvin; one sister, Veronica Heiple of Houma; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cyrus LeCompte; her second husband, Wilson Portier Sr.; her parents, Alphonse Cadiere and Valerie Pontiff Cadiere; one grandson, Kerry Guidry; two brothers, Elmore Cadiere and Arnold Cadiere; and two sisters, Jeanne Belanger and Blanche Dryden. She was a retired cook for St. Joseph Rectory and Terrebonne Parish School Board and later became owner and operator of the Triple J. Restaurant in Chauvin. She was a member of St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
