Arthur Eugene Lee, 84, a native of Indian Bayou and resident of Houma, died at 
11:40 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at 
the funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Gardner Lee of Houma; three sons, Charles Ray 
Lee and wife, Mariann, of Houston, Arthur "Skippy" Lee Jr. and wife, Connie, of 
Lafayette, and Van Edwin Lee and wife, Carol W., of Baton Rouge; two daughters, 
Linda Downer and husband, Hunt, and Donna Theriot of Houma; one brother, Foster 
M. Lee of Nederland, Texas; two sisters, Neva Brown of Leakesville, Miss., and 
Joyce Smith of Kountz, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Edwin Lee Sr. and Beulah M. 
Girouard Lee; one son-in-law, Harold "Skippy" Theriot; one granddaughter, 
Michelle Edwards; and one brother, Thomas Lee Jr.

He was a retired controller with Patterson Truck Line and a U.S. Army veteran of 
World War II.

He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
