Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport and 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church in Mathews. Religious services are at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. She is survived by one son, Joseph Paul Mayet and wife, Stephanie Boyd Mayet; two daughters, Maxie Mayet Robichaux and husband, Dr. Richard E. Robichaux, and Jenell Mayet Dill; one sister, Nettie Guidroz Adams; five grandchildren, Monique Freeman, Celeste Gisclair, Lauren Mayet, Marci Dill and Lindsay Mayet; and five great-grandchildren, Caroline Gisclair, Natalie Gisclair, Madelyn Gisclair, John Freeman and Jesse Freeman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theophile and Marguerite Breaux Guidroz; her husband Alvin "Butch" Mayet; one son, Alvin J. Mayet Jr.; one daughter, Kay Ann Mayet; five brothers, Alba Guidroz, Burt Guidroz, Carl Guidroz, Harold Guidroz and Kermit Guidroz; and two sisters, Rowena Guidroz and Theoma G. Levert. She was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Church. She was the past president of the Women's Club of Lockport; a school teacher, social worker and homemaker. Falgout Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
