Benton Bellon

Benton Bellon, 80, a resident of Basile, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 
2005.

Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Tuesday at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday 
at First Baptist Church in Basile, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Oliver Bellon of Basile; three sons, 
Rudyard "Rusty" Bellon of Tomball, Texas, Charles Dane Bellon of Theriot and 
Mark Bellon of Basile; one daughter, Jennifer Hollingsworth of Auburn, Ala.; and 
nine grandchildren.

He was a retired Baptist minister serving several years a pastor of Montegut 
Baptist Mission.
