The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= October 09. 2005 12:00AM Calvin Antoine [Photo] Calvin "Wop" Antoine, 49, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gray, died at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Eagle Wright Baptist Church in Gray, with burial at Halfway Cemetery in Gray. He is survived by seven brothers, Ernest Antoine, Daniel Antoine, Joseph Antoine, Carl Antoine, all of Gray, Alfred Antoine and Paul Antoine of Houma, and Charles Ray Antoine of Schriever; nine sisters, Audrey, Brenda, Valarie, Janis, Linda, Carolyn, Helen, Laurie and Yvonne, all of Gray; two devoted friends, Mildred Jackson of Marrero and Shirley Smith of Houma; three sisters- in-law; four brothers-in-law; one godchild and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Ruby Harris; his grandparents Conklin Antoine, Lillie Anderson, Clara Adams and Calvin Harris Sr.; one brother, Chester Antoine; one nephew; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law. Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
