Religious service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Davis Mortuary Services in Marrero, with interment in Blue Lilly Cemetery in Thibodaux. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy W. Jules; 14 children, Ronald Lee Jules of Lake Jackson, Texas, Reginald, Stanley, Rodrick, Regina and Stephanie Jules of Houma, Carla M. Jackson of Richmond, Calif., Randy Clarence Jules of Fresno, Calif., Verna Lucille Schroeder and Stacy Lynn Jules of San Jose, Calif., Mark Anthony Jules, Irell, Leon and LeSandera Warren of Avondale; seven sisters, Gilder J. Love of Vacherie, Felicie Fowler, Rose Glass, Carrie Banford, Merita Irvin, Everlyn Williams and Pernella Wilson of New Orleans; and one brother, Henry Lee Jules of Stone Mountain, Ga. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosetta Jules; his second wife, Leola Carter Jules; his parents, Verna Miles and Clarence Jules Sr.; one daughter, Audrey Williams; and two sisters, Emella Jules Gash and Marion Royal. He was a retired crane operator for Avondale Shipyard and a World War II veteran.
