David Bruce Hellier Jr., 35, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:20 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. 
Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. 
Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by his mother, Gail Miller Tracy of Houma; numerous aunts and 
uncles; three godchildren, Kami Scott, Matt Odom and Joshua Miller; and his 
cousins, Craig Miller, Stephanie Hellier, Nadine Miller, Rochel Miller, Nancy 
Miller Benoit, Marie Miller, Marty Miller, Scottie Miller, Derrick Miller, 
Barrett Miller and Natalie Miller Megans.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Bruce Hellier Sr.; and his 
grandparents, Harry and Cyril Tullis Hellier and Vester and Marie Callahan 
Miller.

He was a self-employed electrician and a parishioner of Maria Immacolata 
Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
