Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by two sons, Wayne Richard and Ed Richard Jr. of Houma; three daughters, June Fischer, Dot Marcel and Meryl Aycock, all of Houma; three sisters, Genievieve Chauvin, Laura Chauvin of Theriot and Wilma Chauvin of New Orleans; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Boquet Richard; his parents, James Richard and Lena Brunet Richard; one brother, Edgar Richard; and four sisters, Florence Landry, Felecie Rogers, Edna Steele and Beulah Salivo. He was a retired tool pusher with Kerr McGee, a former member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Terrebonne Parish Library or your favorite charity.
