Evelyn Rogers						[Photo]

Evelyn Gaston Rogers, 59, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, died at 6 
a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and 
from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue. 
Mass will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Garden of Memories 
Cemetery in Gray.

She is survived by one son, Corey Rogers; one daughter, Stephanie LeBouef and 
husband, Troy; one brother, Melvin Gaston; and two grandchildren, Michael and 
Misty LeBouef.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Rogers; her parents, Magnus 
and Elsie Stringer Gaston; and one sister, Norma Savoie.

She was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue.

She was a member of the St. Louis Knight of Columbus Auxiliary and enjoyed 
playing bingo.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for funeral expenses are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
