Gillis Richard Sr.

Gillis Richard Sr., 84, a native and resident of Labadieville, died Saturday, 
Oct. 1, 2005.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home, with 
burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Naquin Richard; one son, Gillis L. Richard 
Jr.; one daughter, MaryLou Boudousquie; one sister, Rosabel Miller; four 
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile Sr. and Anise Thibodaux Richard; 
four brothers, August, Julian, Emile Jr. and Anthony Richard; and one sister, 
Bridget Adams.
