Gladys Woods						[Photo]

Gladys Toussaint Woods, 88, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died at 5:30 
a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at New Mt. Carmel 
Baptist Church in Labadieville. Religious service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at 
the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Lillie B. Davis, Delores Johnson and Brenda 
Johnson, all of Napoleonville; and seven sons, Alex and Edmond Woods of Augusta, 
Ga., Leroy Woods Sr. of New Orleans, Fleming Woods of Thibodaux and Edward, 
Leroy and Rinel Woods of Napoleonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Alex Woods Jr.; her parents, 
Edward Varnall Joseph and Beatrice Martin; and her adopted parents, Alice and 
Joseph Toussaint.

She was a member of New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and served on the usher board.
