Gloria Bowser						[Photo]

Gloria V. Bowser, 81, a native of Houma and resident of New Orleans, died 
Thursday, Aug. 29, 2005.

Funeral services will be at noon Thursday at Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne 
Funeral Home, with burial in New Zion Cemetery.

She is survived by one adopted son, Todd Anthony Jones; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Geston Bowser; her parents, George and 
Nida Lyons Carter; two brothers, James and Roy Carter; and four sisters, Betty 
C. Jones, Hazel C. Boykins, Josephine C. Matthew and Leola C. Jules.

She was a retired beautician and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in New 
Orleans.
