James Adams

James "Jimmy" Luke Adams, 63, a native of New Orleans and resident of Lockport, 
died at 2 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Monday at Lockport Parlor. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Savoir Church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Marie Orgeron Adams; two sons, Allen Adams 
and wife, Denise, and Robert Adams and companion, Donna; four brothers, Junior, 
Whitney, Michael and Harry Adams; five sisters, Marylee Plaisance, Clarabelle 
Babin, Mildred Guidroz, Joyce Vaughn, and Geraldine Addison; and three 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fortune and Ida Adams; five brothers, 
Irvin, Carlton, Gerald, Herbert and Charles Adams; and four sisters, Marie 
Walker, Cynthia Gros, Ann Adams and Shirley Adams.

He was a parishioner of Holy Savoir Church.
