Jane Hitt

Jane Chauvin Hitt, 74, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12:55 p.m. 
Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday 
at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Estelle Lapeyrouse Chauvin of Houma; one son, 
Phil Hitt and wife, Sherry, of Houma; three daughters, Ginger H. Doucet and 
husband, Ray, of New Orleans, B.J. Boudreaux of Houma and Bobbie Chauvin and 
husband, Dickie, of Houma; one sister, Claire Brien of Houma; four 
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wilson Hitt; her father, 
Clarence "Peco" Chauvin; and one son-in-law, Mike Boudreaux.

She was a homemaker.
