Junius Patterson Sr.

Junius Joseph Patterson Sr., 77, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Houma, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Howard Third Zion Travelers 
Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with 
burial in St. Luke Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Patterson; two sons, Junius Jr. and Vernon 
Patterson Sr.; one daughter, Kathy Patterson; one brother, Noble Patterson Sr.; 
10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Duncan Patterson; his father, Luchien 
Patterson; one brother, Vernon Patterson; one sister, Alcementa P. Johnson; and 
one great-grandson, Tyrone Murchison Jr.

He was a retired foreman with Cournoyer Olds-GMC.
