Leona Keys						[Photo]

Leona Keys, 70, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at New Mount Carmel 
Baptist Church in Labadieville. Religious service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at 
the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Janice Thompson of Labadieville, Brendlyn 
Verrett of Thibodaux and Patricia Taylor of Napoleonville; one son, Percy Keys 
Jr. of Napoleonville; two sisters, Audrey Robertson and Leola Hadley of 
Thibodaux; two brothers, Rahoula Plant Jr. of Donaldsonville and Elray Plant of 
New Orleans; two daughters-in-law, Jacqueline Keys and Barbara Wooden; nine 
grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rahoula Plant Sr. and Theola Young 
Gordon; and two sons, Patrick and Oneal Keys.

She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
