Louis LeCompte Jr.					[Photo]

Louis "Butch" John LeCompte Jr., 62, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, 
died at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 
2.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen McElroy LeCompte of Houma; his parents, Louis John LeCompte Sr. and Laura Lee Pellegrin LeCompte of Chauvin; one son, 
Tracy LeCompte of Rockwall, Texas; two daughters, Ruby LeCompte and Robin 
LeCompte Lapeyrouse and husband, Chris, of Houma; two brothers, Rickey LeCompte 
and wife, Abbie, and Denny LeCompte and wife, Stephanie, of Houston; one sister, 
Bonnie Robichaux and husband, Richard, of Chauvin; and two grandchildren, Emma 
Lapeyrouse and Joseph Lapeyrouse.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby LeCompte.

He was a retired terminal supervisor with ExxonMobil and a U.S. Army veteran.

He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his family and most of all 
his grandchildren.

He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
