Maggie Dennis						[Photo]

Maggie Dennis, 90, a native of Houma and resident of New Orleans, died Monday, 
Aug. 29, 2005.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. today at Gertrude Geddes Willis-
Terrebonne Funeral Home, with burial in Providence Memorial Park.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Sarah Sims; 12 nephews; 20 nieces; and 
numerous grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russel Dennis; her parents, Isaac 
Simms and Mary W. Simms; four brothers, Herman, Isaac Jr., Olden and Harry 
Simms; and two sisters, Stella S. Mitchell and Maude Lewis Simms.

She was a homemaker and an usher.

She was Baptist.

Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
