Malvina Rodriguez					[Photo]

Malvina Bourg Rodriguez, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Montegut, died at 8:40 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Manuel Rodriguez; one son, Gary Rodriguez of 
Montegut; two daughters, Wendy R. Cheramie of Raceland and Rosalie R. Blanchard 
of Montegut; one sister, Marie R. Robicheaux; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-
grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bourg and Therzile Brunet 
Bourg; one son, Richard Rodriguez; one daughter, Rosalie "Lalie" Blanchard; five 
brothers, Joseph, Milton, George, Andrew and Norman Bourg; and one sister, Anna 
Lee Pitre.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of the 
Montegut Lions Club for more than 30 years and the American Legion Auxiliary.
