Margaret Odom						[Photo]

Margaret Eythel Munson Odom, 91, a native and resident of Houma, died at 4:12 
p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005.

A memorial service was held at 11:30 a.m. today at St. Matthew's Episcopal 
Church.

She is survived by one son, George Allen Odom of Houston; one daughter, Sarah 
Odom Picard of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Allen Munson Picard, Andrew Thomas 
Picard, Marshall Odom and Charles Odom; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvannus Allen Munson and Eythel 
Wallis Munson; her husband, Thomas Deaton Odom; and one grandchild, George 
Fernest Picard.

She was a kindergarten teacher for St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.

She was a member of the Study Club, Terrebonne Garden Club, Kappa Delta 
Sorority, Terrebonne Bird Club and a graduate of Lorton Preparatory School.

She was a parishioner of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Matthew's Episcopal 
School.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
