Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with interment in the church mausoleum. He is survived by two sons, Brian and Philip Dufrene; one stepson, Leon Barnum; one daughter, Kathleen Horn; one sister, Josephine D. Bergeron; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Dora Adams; his parents, Wilton and Teresa Picataccio Dufrene; and one daughter, Tura D. Ruiz. He was a World War II Coast Guard veteran.
