Rosemary Wallis					[Photo]

Rosemary Mart Wallis, 64, a native of Gray and resident of Houma, died at 9:30 
p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home and from 10 
a.m. to funeral time Monday at Eagle Wright Baptist Church in Gray. Services 
will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Halfway Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Helen Richard Mart of Gray; one son, Ernest Mart 
Wallis of Houma; five daughters, Yolanda Mart of Houma, Apryl Wallis of Stone 
Mountain, Ga., Sheryl Wallis, Effie Wallis and Gaye Dawson and husband, Mark, 
all of Houma; three brothers, Freddie Mart, Perry Mart and Larry Mart, all of 
Gray; and eight sisters, Helen Woods and husband, Fergurson, of Gibson, Angela 
Mart of Schriever, Ernestina Nells and husband, Williams, Mary Jane Jackson, 
Shirley M. Frank, Claudette Nixon and husband, Wesley, Lydia Gwin and husband, 
Donald, and Faith M. Mart, all of Gray.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham L. Wallis; and two sisters, 
Carolina Pharr and Alma Brooks.

She was a parishioner of Eagle Wright Baptist Church.
