Sarah Fornea

Sarah Pye Fornea, a native of Houma, a former resident of Angie and Bogalusa and 
resident of Houma, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005.

Graveside service will be held at a later date in the Fornea Family Cemetery in 
Varnado.

She is survived by one brother, Dr. Lloyd A. Pye Sr. and wife, Nina, of Monroe; 
two sisters-in-law, Irma and Alta of Houma; and numerous relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Ruffin Daniel Fornea; her parents, 
Howard Louis Pye Sr. and Jessie Joseph King Pye; and two brothers, Howard Louis 
Pye Jr. and Charles Andrew Pye.

She and her husband ran a medical clinic in Angie, where she was a public health 
nurse for 10 years. They opened the first mental-health clinic in Terrebonne 
Parish.
