Porche Sr., 58, a native and resident of Houma, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005. Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Samart Funeral Home in Bayou Blue. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Roger's Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Earline Dupre Porche; three sons, Terry W. Porche Jr., Steven J. Porche and wife, Donna D. Porche, and Shane Porche and wife, Candace S. Porche; four brothers, Kenneth Porche, Johnny Porche, Ernest Porche Jr. and Kevin Porche; three sisters, June Albert, Debra Price and Sandra Bray; and six grandchildren Kati King, Kameryn Porche, Steven "Square" Porche II and Gordon Porche. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Porche Sr. and Victoria Lovell Porche and three sisters, Gail Porche, Judy Falgout and Lana Porche. He was employed by Rigger Beverly Industries. He was a Pentecostal and a member of the First Assembly and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. His hobbies included fishing and spoiling his grandchildren.
