Tommy Hood Sr.						[Photo]

Tommy Hood Sr., 55, a native of Dayton, Ohio, and resident of Thibodaux, died at 
7:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Samart Funeral Home 
in Raceland. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his beloved companion, Maureen Johnson; his mother, Carmen 
Hood; two sons, Tommy Jr. and David Hood; one brother, Bobby Hood; one sister, 
Reba Weymouth; and six grandchildren, David Musick, April Hood, Hailey Hood, 
Ashlie Hood, Shawna Lindsey and Amber Hood.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lucien Hood; one son, Timothy Hood; and 
one brother, David Hood.

He worked for Southern Technologies and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and 
spoiling his grandchildren.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
