Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at New Belmont Baptist Church in Labadieville. Religious service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Ira Boatner of Labadieville; her parents, Donald and Matilda White Amos of Labadieville; three sons, Donshea Ameche Amos, Qwendel Amos and Trayon Boatner of Labadieville; three daughters, Shinette M. Amos, Iraneka J. Amos and Matilda Q. Amos of Labadieville; and four sisters, Cherise Deneen Cooks, Monice Amos, Mary Dean Smith and Angela Stephens. She was preceded in death by one sister, Lydia Amos Johnson; one brother, Elijah Darren Cooks III; and her grandparents, Lester and Matilda Marshall White, Mark Edward and Ruby Knockum Amos. She was a member of New Belmont Baptist Church and served on the Junior Usher Board.
