Walter Rodrigue

Walter J. Rodrigue, 91, a native and resident of Larose, died at noon Sunday, 
Oct. 30, 2005.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church in Larose. Mass will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Elvire Cheramie Rodrigue; one son, Mervin "Vin" 
Rodrigue and wife, Joy; three daughters, Doris R. Guidry and husband, Jimmy, 
Linda R. Foret and husband, Gary, and Elene R. Martin; one stepbrother, Valcour 
Rodrigue; three sisters, Anna Mae Richoux, Ida Mae Toups and Edith Cunningham; 
three stepsisters, Joyce Aaron, Judy Johnson and Patsy Bourgeois; nine 
grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcide and Annie D. Rodrigue; four 
brothers, Alcide Jr., Warren, Murphy and Clifton Rodrigue; and one sister, 
Dorothy Loupe.

He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
