Alvin Savoie						[photo]

Alvin Joseph Savoie, 79, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gray, 
died at 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel and 
from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass will be 
at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with interment in the church mausoleum.

He is survived by his wife, Olive Rita Dupre Savoie; two daughters, Maria 
Whittle and Elsie Savoie; one brother, Earl Savoie; seven grandchildren, Johnny 
Pollard, Christina Alesich, William Savoie, Sue Ellen Boudreaux, Wilsey, Susan 
and Wayne Lodrigue; and 11 great-grandchildren, Corey, Katelynn and Nicholas 
Alesich, Kasey and Alexander Savoie, Travis Jr. and Cassidee Boudreaux, Alexis, 
Aaron, Evan and Abigail Lodrigue.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Bernice Hebert Savoie; and one 
brother, Howard Savoie.

He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
