Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by two sons, Roland Allemand Jr. and wife, Laurie, and Bradley Allemand and wife, Amy, of Houma; three daughters, Connie Becnel and husband, Joe, of Katy, Texas, Beth Allemand and Julie Howard of Houma; two brothers, Maurice Thibodeaux and Chris Thibodeaux of Houma; six sisters, Marie Prejeant, Barbara Arceneaux, Mercedes Bergeron, Maxine Braud of Houma, Clarabell Fernandez of Palos Park, Ill., and Sandra Mizell of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, Andrea Allemand, Lauren Becnel, David Allemand, Benjamin Becnel, Dwight Howard and Alyssa Allemand; and three step-grandchildren, Jeremy Brunet, Jodie Powell and Ronnie Corson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Allemand Sr.; her parents, Maurice Thibodeaux and Clara Theriot Thibodeaux; and one son, Dwight Allemand. She was a homemaker and a past member of Civitan Club, the Knights of Columbus Woman's Auxiliary and Shady Oaks Senior Citizens. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
