Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna. She is survived by four daughters, Jane T. Taravella, Karen T. Dauzat, Cheryl T. Pierron and Patricia T. Smith; four sons-in-law, Vincent Taravella, Foster J. Dauzet Jr., Paul J. Pierron Sr. and Rollin F. Smith Jr.; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Buddy" Talamo; her parents, Charles Archibald Young Sr. and Henrietta Barras Young; two brothers, Charles A. Young Jr. and Robert Young; and one sister, Dorothy Young Scanio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 105 Campus Drive East, Destrehan, LA 70047 Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
