Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by four sons, Daniel Braud and wife, Elaine, Terry Braud, Bruce Braud and wife, Dana, and Troy Braud and wife, Joan; three daughters, Trudy Carnaggio and husband, Camille, Dinah Braud and Myra Scarbrough and husband, Walter; one sister, Elva Ronquille; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Roger Braud; his parents, Morris Braud and Zelia Chiasson Braud; two grandchildren, Michael Braud and Reva Braud Troxler; five brothers, Adley, Herbert, Olide, Murphy and Joseph Braud; and four sisters, Floria Braud, Viola Benoit, Bertha Braud and Mary Braud. He was a retired carpenter and owner of Braud's Grocery in Bayou Blue. He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
