Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Balinda Boudloche Davis of Schriever; four sons, Cornelius Anthony Davis Jr. and wife, Samantha Ordoyne Davis, of Chacahoula, Jason Davis and wife, Rebecca Bonvillain Davis, Scott Davis and wife, Jenni Polk Davis, and Robert Davis of Schriever; two daughters, Melissa Davis Chiasson and husband, Ronnie, and Stephanie Davis Durocher and husband, B.J., of Thibodaux; three brothers, Henry Davis of Mobile, Ala., Alvin Davis Jr. and Faron Davis of Lockport; four sisters, Beverly D. Cotton of Houma, Charlene D. Adams of Schriever, Charlotte D. Belaire of Gray and Anna D. Dufrene of Des Allemands; seven grandchildren, Destin Davis, Ciara Davis, Tara Davis, Lexi Davis, Lane Chiasson, Tyler Durocher and Trey Durocher; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin P. Davis Sr. and Dorthy Chenevert Davis; one grandson, Joshua Davis; and his grandparents, Annette Oliver Davis, Cornelius Davis, Evita Bertrand Chenevert and John Chenevert. He was a truck driver and mechanic for Terrebonne Concrete Co., a member of the Lockport Carnival Club and past member of the East Thibodaux Fire Department. He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
