Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by three sons, Keith Ledet, Todd Ledet and wife, Cecilia, of Houma, and Bradley Ledet of Tampa, Fla.; five daughters, Adele Jackson and husband, Neal, Barbara Trahan, Loretta Scott and husband, Herbert, Rochelle Latchcriet and husband, Donny, and Kita Brunet and husband, Bryan, of Houma; one sister, Elrena C. Sullivan of Gretna; 17 grandchildren, Kenneth Shane, Brandy, Dorina, Slate, Chad, Lisa, David, Ron, Tyina, Machele, Maddison, Amy, Abby, Randi, Melissa and Haven; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vilace Ledet Jr.; her parents, William John Callahan and Adele Ann Callahan; one great-granddaughter, Leah Trahan; seven brothers, Cleveland, Ruffin, William "Cat" and John Henry Callahan, Van Theriot and Randolph and Adam Callahan; and two sisters, Mary Virginia Callahan and Lena Theriot Bergeron. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
