Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Natchez. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, John R. Weathersby of Schriever; her mother and stepfather, Eula Lee Buckles Ford Allen and L.C. Allen of Natchez; one son, Richard C. Thompson of Schriever; two daughters, Bridgett Thompson Denson and husband, Rickey, of Bayou Blue, and Alison N. Weathersby of Houma; two brothers, Walter L. Ford of Natchez and David G. Ford of Denham Springs; three stepbrothers, Larry Allen of Natchez, Steve Allen of Ennis, Texas, and Chris D. Allen of Vidalia; and two grandchildren, Katelyn Denson and Dylan Denson of Bayou Blue. She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Ford; and one brother, Roger W. Ford. She was a registered nurse at Chabert Medical Center and a past employee of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. She graduated from Nicholls State University in 1992 and was an avid gardener, enjoyed reading and painting and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
