Gratien Dempster					Picture

Gratien J. Dempster, 75, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Kraemer, died 
Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Lawrence the 
Martyr Catholic Church in Kraemer. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 
church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Alida Cortez Dempster; two sons, Alex P. Dempster 
and wife, Deanna Molaison Dempster and Jason T. Dempster and wife, Andrea Dupre 
Dempster; two brothers, Celestine and Jerry Dempster; four grandchildren, 
Kimberly Arcement, Clinton Dempster, Thomas Dempster and Ashley Dempster; and 
two great-grandchildren, Riley and Alexcia Arcement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Dempster and Bertha Matherne 
Dempster; five brothers, Horace, Gillas, Morris, Antoine and Tex Dempster; and 
two sisters, Marie Crochet and Lucy Dash.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
