Gwendolyn Trench

Gwendolyn Goudia Trench, 55, a native of Wallace and resident of Houma, died 
Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Highway Baptist 
Church in Vacherie. Services will be at noon Saturday at the church, with burial 
in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Trench Sr.; four children, Myya Manna 
Dawson of Raleigh, N.C., Herbert Gautier of Honolulu, Hawaii, Kernell Gautier of 
Stafford, Va., and Ahmaad Trench of Thibodaux; two stepchildren, Barion Trench 
of Madison, Ala., and Charles Trench Jr. of Mobile, Ala.; five siblings, Marsha 
Reed of Bellflower, Calif., Kernell Goudia of LaPlace, Virgil Goudia of Edgard, 
Glenn Goudia of Algiers and Dale Goudia of New Orleans; seven grandchildren; and 
numerous relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Irvin Louis Goudia.
