Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by one son, Ricardo Dubois of Prairieville; four daughters, Linda Broussard of Lafayette, Glenda Beard of Dale City, Va., Judy Dubois and Tanya Abadie of Ponchatoula; one brother, Nolan Dubois of Houma; one sister, Ismae LeBouef of Houma; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Avet Dubois; his parents, Willie Dubois and Alice Dupre Dubois; three brothers, Lester, Willie and Chester Dubois; and three sisters, Wilda Bourg, Elda Lirette and Louise Thibodaux. He was a retired welder with Quality Equipment and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion and a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
