Henry Blanchard Jr.					Picture

Henry Joseph "June" Blanchard Jr., 55, a native and resident of Chauvin, died at 
11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005.

Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Monday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday 
at St. Joseph Church in Chauvin, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Claudette C. Blanchard; two sons, Ronnie Blanchard 
and wife, Angela, and Kevin Blanchard and fiance, Nikki Martin; three daughters, 
Rhonda Blanchard Norberg and fiance, John Berthelot, Marla Riva and husband, 
Ray, and Penny Thibodeaux and husband, Ricky; and seven grandchildren, Dylan 
Norberg, Jace Norberg, Payton Blanchard, Rhett Ruiz, Malorie Ruiz, Regina 
Thibodeaux and Cody Thibodeaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Joseph "Harry" and Irene Marie 
Trahan Blanchard Sr.; one granddaughter, Macie Lyn Blanchard; and one sister, 
Charolette Ann "Teatsy" Blanchard Boudoin.

He was Catholic; member of Woodmen of the World; past president of Ward 7 
Citizens Club; and a Main Iron Works employee for 36 years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spoiling his grandchildren.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
