No services are scheduled. He is survived by six sons, Daniel, James A., Terry, Phillip, David and James D. Barger; four stepsons, Bill McMillian, Roy McMillian, Jerry McMillian and Richard Williamson; two daughters, Deborah Barger and Brenda Barger Kuhl; four stepdaughters, Gloria Aaron, Linda Guidry, Bonnie McMillian and Edna McKenzie; two sisters, Ozalie Barger and Relley Barger; 46 grandchildren; and 16 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora McMillian Barger; one stepson, Robert McMillian; and one step-grandchild, Christopher McMillian. He retired after 46 years with Carpenter Union and was a U.S. paratrooper.
