Janet Gaudet						[Photo]

Janet LeCompte Gaudet, 91, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Bourg, 
died at 2:37 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Tuesday at St. Ann Community Center in Bourg. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at 
St. Ann Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one sister, Loretta Walker Picou of Bourg; and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold "Smiles" Gaudet; her parents, 
Lee J. LeCompte Sr. and Bridgette Gaudet LeCompte; four brothers, Joseph 
LeCompte, Harris A. LeCompte, Elward P. LeCompte and Lee LeCompte Jr.; and one 
sister, Nellie May LeCompte.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Altar Society, the VFW Ladies 
Auxiliary and the Lions Club Auxiliary.

She was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
