Jennie Trahan						[Photo]

Jennie Lirette Trahan, 71, native of Theriot and resident of Houma, died at 
10:10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Tuesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 11 a.m. 
Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Dane Wempren of Chackbay; one daughter, Marlene 
Bergeron and husband, Gerald "Jerry" Bergeron of Houma; three brothers, Hillary 
Lirette, Dennis "T-Boy" Lirette Sr. and wife, Elaine, and Daniel "Buckey" 
Lirette and wife, Glenda, of Theriot; four sisters, Velma Dehart, Violet 
Robichaux and husband, Laban, of Houma, Leona Guidry and husband, Junius, 
Angelia "Uchie" Durio and husband, Arthur, of Theriot; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynold Trahan; her parents, Dennie 
Lirette Sr. and Marie Liner Lirette; one son, Reynold Trahan Jr.; and two 
brothers, Rosevelt Lirette Sr. and Jimmy Lirette.

She was a homemaker, a parishioner at St. Gregory Barbargio Catholic Church and 
a member of the East Park Ladies Auxiliary.
