Joyce Legendre

Joyce Cheramie Legendre, 73, a native of Larose and resident of Lockport, died 
at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic 
Church in Lockport. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial 
in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Steve and Chris Legendre; five daughters, Patsy 
Comeaux, Janet Legendre, Cindy Plaisance, Shawn Robichaux and Dawn Sherman; one 
brother, Louis Andrew "Buck" Cheramie; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Joseph Cheramie and Edith Adams 
Cheramie; and one grandchild.

She was a member of the Senior Citizens and a parishioner of Holy Savior 
Catholic Church.
