Laura Burrell						Picture

Laura W. Burrell, 87, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Wednesday, Oct. 
26, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Moses Baptist Church 
in Thibodaux. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, James S. Burrell Sr. of San Francisco and Raymond 
Burrell of Decatur, Ga.; four daughters, Lynn B. Jackson, Martha B. Jones and 
June B. Price of Thibodaux and Annie B. Milline of Decatur; three sisters, 
Georgette Johnson of Thibodaux and Mercedes W. Brown and Samantha Williams of 
Baton Rouge; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Burrell Sr.; her parents, 
Alphonse and Anna Pharagood Williams; two sons, Johnny Burrell Jr. and Frank D. 
Burrell; two brothers, Herman Williams and John C. Williams; four sisters, 
Thelma Williams, Alma Shanklin, Theresa W. Canter and Omae W. Richardson; and 
one granddaughter.
