Leland Ledet Jr.					Picture

Leland "Polene" Joseph Ledet Jr., 62, a native and resident of Houma, died at 10 
a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 
a.m. to funeral time Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at noon 
Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Guidry Ledet of Houma; one son, Lance Patrick 
Ledet and wife, Margaret "Maggie"; one daughter, Tammy Ledet Dupre and husband, 
Clifton Dupre; two brothers, Dane P. Ledet and Keith John Ledet; three sisters, 
Wanda Ledet Gaidry, Lisa K. Ledet and Melinda B. Ledet; and two grandchildren, 
Cierra M. Hughes and Samantha C. Hughes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland Joseph Ledet Sr. and Doris Marie 
Prestenbach Ledet.

He was a retired charter boat captain and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
