Leroy Carter

Leroy Carter Sr., 70, a native and resident of New Orleans, died at 2:30 p.m. 
Friday, Nov. 18, 2005.

Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Marine Missionary Baptist Church in 
Jefferson, with burial in Providence Memorial Park in Metairie.

He is survived by his wife, Odelie Nixon Carter of New Orleans; three sons, 
Nathaniel Carter Sr. of New Orleans, Leroy Carter Jr. of Slidell and Jerome 
Carter of LaPlace; one daughter, Almarie Carter of New Orleans; two sisters, 
Bernice Nixon of Kenner and Beulah Neyland of New Orleans; 9 grandchildren; and 
three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beulah Mason Carter and Leslie Carter 
Sr.; and one brother, Leslie Carter Jr.

He was a truck driver and a parishioner of Baptist St. Peter Missionary Church.
