Mable Johnson

Mable Johnson, 91, a resident and native of New Orleans, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 
2005.

Mass will be at 11 a.m. at the Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home 
Chapel, with burial in Allen Chapel Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by one daughter, Beulah Thomas of New Orleans; one sister, 
Dorothy Baptiste of Gray; 4 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one 
great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura Reed and Sylvester Reed Sr.; one 
son, Arthur Johnson; one daughter, Rose Mary Brown; seven brothers, Allen and 
Willie Davis, and Lloyd, Louis, Edgar, Ernest and Sylvester Reed; and five 
sisters, Gertrude Rogers, Ursula Thomas, Harriet Brown, Beatrice Johnson and 
Bessie Davis.

She was a homemaker. She was Baptist.
