The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= November 29. 2005 11:51AM Milton Denson Sr. [Photo] Milton "Wayne" Denson Sr., 83, a native of Montalba, Texas, and longtime resident of Houma, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Houma. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Edith Talbot Denson; one son, Daniel Denson of The Woodlands, Texas; two daughters, Carol D. Walls of New Braunfels, Texas, and Faith D. Haydel of Houma; one sister, Marita Stovall of Montalba; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben Franklin Denson and Mary Rogers Denson; one son, Milton "Wayne" Denson Jr.; and one sister, Myrlene Skerritt. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II at the Houma Air Base as a blimp radio/sonar man and was a drilling and production foreman for Texaco for 41 years. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
