Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. He is survived by two daughters, Lozia P. Jambon and Carol P. Adams and husband, Duffy; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mirza Doucet Plaisance; his parents, Andrew Plaisance Sr. and Adelaide Guidry Plaisance; one son-in-law, Ernie Jambon; six brothers, Henry, Frankie, Elix, Andrew, Harris and Alex Plaisance; and one sister, Victore P. Bruce. He was Catholic. He was an oysterman, trawler, fur trapper, and school-bus driver for 14 years.
