Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Bourgeois Cambre of Houma; his mother, Wanda Landry Cambre of New Iberia; one daughter, Aimee Cambre Martin of Houma; two brothers, Patrick Cambre of Lafayette and Charles C. Cambre III of New Iberia; three sisters, Dionne Cambre Robinson, Michelle Cambre of New Iberia and Janenne Cambre DeClouet of Lafayette; one sister-in-law, Clysse Bourgeois Carlos; one brother-in-law, Freddy Bourgeois; one granddaughter, Courtney Martin; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Cyril Cambre II. He was an insurance adjuster with Benefield and Company and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
